Leadership

Leadership development is a primary goal of Delta Tau Delta. Delta Tau Delta provides many leadership opportunities for its members. Not only do members participate in the organization of the organization. From operating a formal meeting to public speaking, Delta Tau Delta provides opportunities outside of the classroom. Corporations and recruiters know this and understand the importance of leadership and teamwork when Delts graduate.

In addition, the national fraternity holds sessions at Leadership Academies every year. For a nominal registration fee, participants learn about leadership first hand while sailing or at an outward bound camp with Delts from all over the counry. Madhan Gounder ('03) was one of the participants to The Sailing Leadership Academy in the summer of 2002.

These leadership skills have enabled Penn Delts to become leaders on campus - whether in student organizations or in terms of academics.
