DTD Raises Money for Charity - Tuesday, November 04, 2003 |
The Charity coffeehouse, in addition to Habitat for Humanity's pumpkin sales raised more than $300 towards the construction of homes. Click on the picture to see the DP article on the event.

Charity Coffeehouse - Oct 29 - Monday, October 20, 2003 |
As part of our commitment to community service, Delta Tau Delta is hosting a coffeehouse with Habitat for Humanity to raise funds. The event will start at 8PM and will feature many on-campus groups Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. HFHI seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need. Habitat has built more than 150,000 houses around the world, providing more than 750,000 people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter. HFHI was founded in 1976 by Millard Fuller along with his wife Linda. |

As the school year is drawing to a close, congratulations and thank goes out to graduating Delts (brackets show positions held as an active): Matt Ford (Director of Academic Affairs) Graduating Fall 2003, Joel Garcia (Treasurer), John Gilbert (Founding Father, Relations Chair), Madhan Gounder (Founding Father, Director of Risk Management), Andy Kolker, Bill Krebs (Founding Father, Secretary, Petition Chair), Joseph Rumore (Founding Father, President, Social Chair), Neal Shah (Founding Father, President, Social Chair). All of the members of this graduating class were founding members of the Omega colony and the colony would not have survived without their continued hard work and dedication. |
